Blessings flow under the benevolence of Munich's loving watch. The campervan was delivered to me today by Mr. Ungerman. That's a miracle, too. Usually the buyer goes to pick it up. He has responded positively to every request. He came dressed in his best, with his teenage son and arrived 15 minutes early.
There are several guests at Gina's and one, Andreas, accepted to be my translator, since Mr. Ungerman doesn't know much English at all. Andreas knows a little more.
So we all went out and I got educated on operating the campervan, which I am wondering now, what is the campervan's name? I keep saying that the campervan is my house. The house on my back, like a turtle. So a name is coming soon!
As Mr. Ungerman filled out my passport number on the documents, he noticed my birthdate. I am born November 18, 1954. He delightedly pointed out to me that he was born November 19, 1954. OK, angels, I get the message. How synchronistic can it get.
He is no more than a day different in age from me! The purchasing of this special van is in divine order.
I've got to say, I've been asking help at every turn...literally. Before I get on the underground, I'll ask someone if I'm getting on the right train. At the department store I asked a woman customer to help me pick out the right sized sheets and comforter. The computer salesman directed me to the specialty store to find a battery recharger. A person on the street helped me go in the right direction to the specialty store. Just three weeks ago, I knew nothing about Munich, much less how to find a van and arrange everything around it. Most of the time my adventure has happened with grace and ease. When I want help with something or finding something, I'll raise my hand in the air and let the angels know what I want exactly. Once in the busiest underground station, after feeling totally confused, I rose my hand, and a woman came up to me immediately, to offer help.
Before I approach someone, such as in the department store, I'll create a BEEING, such as being helpful, clear and cheerful. And almost always, I'll get a person who's being that! Wow, these tools really work, and its so much fun to be cheerful most of the day, when I remember in years past I would have anxiety about such situations (fear of the unknown, fear of not getting what I want, being in a hurry)
Now my moments with other people are so rich, so special.
I have met so many young people (in their twenties). I go to them often with questions about the underground or finding other locations. If you read the blog about my journey back from Salzburg, I was surrounded by young people on both train rides. And they came to sit with me. On the second portion of that journey a 20yr.old girl from Brazil came to sit with me. She made a point of looking at me and smiling, and then a few minutes later began a conversation. She is in Munich studying and working as an oper (taking care of children). I asked her why she looked sad, and she was homesick. She said she was not used to the German culture where people seem to be more closed.
We continued to talk as we got off at the same stop and she walked with me beyond her destination. I invited her to contemplate that perhaps the reason she was in a different culture, was to learn to be happy, independant of other people. I shared with her some of my practices. I shared with her, the way I did with my niece, just the other night on Skype, who was in her car in the middle of a terrifying storm in Arkasas, who was being upset, anxious, and angry about moving. I shared with them the value for me, when I am upset, to start thinking about how I WANT THINGS TO GO in every area of my life. This then helps me feel better, and I know that what I ask for, eventually shows up.
Something tells me, that there will be many young people (in their twenties and thirties) joining us in the Jewel Project.
Hurray! Hurray! What a happy day! It's quiet enough now, 11:30pm, to go jump in my dear campervan for the first night's sleep, while it's parked in front of Gina's flat and across from my magical park with the magical white kitty.
Lovingly,
and thanks for reading my blog!
