Hurray I found the right battery recharger and I now have a functioning digital camera again! The pictures above are of Klaus and his beloved wife, Lis. And you'll see me sitting next to Lis. They live in a small village near Ingolstadt, which is about 60 km. north of Munich.

Klaus and Lis helped me locate the perfect campervan that was waiting just for me!
You'll read some stories about the most recent days with my campervan which is almost ready for take-off.

Thanks again to Klaus and Lis. Whenever Klaus needed help thinking things through he would walk away from the phone and call out to Lis. It seemed like she always had a solution for him. Lis is an infinite source of practical knowlege. She delights in being that source for Klaus.


Klaus and I weathered through cross-town Munich construction rush-hour traffic to reach the seller of the van who lives outside in a Munich suburb. Klaus is a true warrior. ( I told myself, given the effort we are both making to reach this seller, this van has to be the one!)
