FURSTENFELDBROOK - a villge of magnificense

I'm backing up a little. This is my time to be able to share some more of the many experiences in a magical land called Bavaria. I've had these pictures ready to share with you, and have now found the time to post.

Meanwhile the campervan, Prince, is parked peacefully out in front of Gina's in Munich.

The last time I went to Furstenfeldbrook by train, 20 min. outside of Munich, Pia met me at the train station with her Dutch bicycle. It was a day of abundant rain and it was fun to see how people are so prepared for the rain, in ways I would not have dreamed of. That day a lot of people headed to the monastery complex for a crafts fair. Many had their bicycles, and they had ponchos, umbrellas, plastic covers for their bicycle seats. Often I see parents towing their one or two kids in a cart, covered in plastic, which is in tow behind the bike.

Pia took me into the Baroque cathedral at the monastery and these photos are of that cathedral. I was in awe as Pia shared with me how she stands in the balcony way up high in the cathedral,to sing with the choir, once a week.
